Hello,
I am working as a Research Student in one of the prestigious universities in [https://holaconnect.com/profile/ankita-agarwal-email-phone-e4b243a6 Texas]. My main area of study is on whether household work should be considered as paid work or not. I have been living a very simple life but I want to break the walls under which the stereotypical society wants to keep us (the women) in.
Since very long we have seen that the society considers women as a household object. We aren't supposed to step out and do whatever we want. Or if we choose to stay at home and be a homemaker it is considered that we are good for nothing and cannot excel in our lives. But the point that I have realized is, if a woman is a homemaker than her work should be recognized and on the contrary if she is both a working woman and is also asked to look after the house, she should be paid as per that. It might sound strange, but recognizing her efforts is really important.
