Growing up we heard lots of pet myths such as why dogs eat grass, dogs being color blind and when a dog’s nose is warm then it is running a fever and so on. This depends on the specie of Dog. All Dogs see colors but in varying degrees. None are as good as humans but to suggest dogs are color blind would be fallacy. When Dogs eat grass, does it mean they are sick?

I grew up with the notion that dogs tend to eat grass when ill as a natural way of dealing with illness; I thought they were tapping into their primal instincts to solve their health discomfort. Well, research says it is a possibility but also animals may just like to eat grass.
