Rather than spending 60 minutes jogging, run for half an hour near the beginning of your day and then again nearer the end. Get toned triceps by performing modified push-ups. The trick is to take the normal pushup and directly target your triceps. This is done by rotating your hands 45 degrees. Complete your weight lifting routine in 30 to 45 minutes. If you work out for longer than an hour, you can start to lose muscle mass. Be sure to keep your weight workouts under 60 minutes.

Using treadmills at home or at the gym is effective; however, running outdoors is even more effective. The weather during winter months gives a good reason why people prefer treadmills, however, it is better for you to run on pavement.

Make a regular schedule to prevent you from not making exercise a part of your life. Set a number of days during the week that you will work out, and stick to that number. If for some reason you have to skip a workout, be sure to make up for it later in the week.
