Discussion This study represents the first attempt to use cVEP to assay color perception in an ADHD sample. Moreover, we conducted ophthalmological testing to allow us to disaggregate color perception problems from problems in vision. The major findings in this pilot study were that: (1) the ADHD group (particularly the ��medicated�� group) showed a much larger P1 amplitude in response to blue�Cyellow stimuli than did the comparison group, but did not differ in terms of the P1 latency; (2) there were no intergroup differences in the P1 amplitude or latency in response to red�Cgreen or achromatic stimuli; (3) inattention significantly correlated with the P1 amplitude, only for B�CY stimuli; and (4) there was no evidence in ophthalmological problems in the ADHD group based on the clinical measures.
