The staining pattern was membranous with accentuation of the lateral rather than apical borders. Cytoplasmic staining was also noted. An incomplete membranous pattern was focally noted in moderately differentiated tumors. In poorly differentiated tumors, the staining pattern was mainly cytoplasmic with minimal incomplete membranous staining.
