What is Bubble Soccer?

​​Bubble soccer is played like soccer with one awesome addition: giant inflatable bubble suits. Players use their newly padded body mass to run into their opponents and send them bouncing about the field. Everyone remains unharmed thanks to the cushy suits, but fair warning: you might be laughing too hard to stand back up. ​Backflips, summersaults and 360s are all encouraged!

Bubble Soccer, Bubble Football or Zorb Football is the recreation or sport of playing football while encased in an inflated Bubble which covers the player’s upper-body and head. The game is generally played indoors in a sports hall, or outdoors on grass or AstroTurf. The sport is becoming increasingly well-liked, with many individuals all over the world taking it up. Bubble Soccer can be played by anybody and is frequently played amongst friends for Birthdays, Group Events, Corporate Team Building, Stag Parties, Bachelor Parties.

The Rules

Standard games are 5 vs 5. League play is broken into two 20 minute halves with a 10 minute half time. Sub rotations take place each 5 minutes. Rules are "relaxed" soccer rules. There are no off-sides and no goalies.

THE FIELD

Suggested space is “about the size of a basketball court” (94’x50’). Indoor soccer fields and indoor basketball courts are ideal, but carpet, hardwood, turf and grass are all acceptable.
