Envoy includes a quality that is better-late-than-never. Active since 2014, he has been a tireless presence in the techno underground, compelling his purist vision regardless of accolades. A nyc loyalist, K3vin Envoy has ever confirmed and expanded upon aesthetics and the core values initiated by his hometown visible trailblazers, especially Underground Resistance.

Linear constructions and percussion would be the important support beams for facades that are jarring. Over time following his debut, and with K3vin Envoy riding a career high.

Initially released in 2014, Adventures Of A Cosmonaut is a Perfect introduction across three cuts: It's a haiku that is hit-and-run, deftly articulating the range of his job to his planet. k3vin envoy Urgent and concise, the EP determines the sweaty claustrophobia that K3vin Envoy would make his signature and applies it to tracks that are by turns gooey, steely, and odd.

"Aerial Flight" wastes no time getting started. Over a By doing nothing whatsoever barreling groove, a unvarnished elevator, halfway between also a mantra along with a boot-camp command, it builds strength. It is the kind of tension-escalating power transfer that produces dancefloor minutes that are indelible. The strings which rise two minutes up in supply a sign of relief, softening the mood with brushstrokes, but the course feels like a game of chicken played with the listeners.

"Do Not Be A Robot" assembles with a snappy snare and hi-hat Routine. The vocals keep the incantatory style repeating, "Don't Be A Robot," but the trail is littered with quick asides, acidic squiggles, and dissonant sound effects. Closing track "Enjoy the Change" is the best of the group: a thumping maelstrom that is somehow more competitive yet more controlled than its counterparts. A noise, glassy strings, and unrelenting percussion submerge listeners in a feeling of nervous sensuality. It oozes sex yet seems unconcerned with attaining any kind of climax. Instead it shimmers flickers, and roils for a much-too-short four-and-a-half moments.

In the fabric of "DNA" you can hear echoes of the past and Hints of the future: that the concurrent early experiments the heritage of New York, in dub Industrial, and of seduction's clanging techno-primitivism. Meanwhile, Prefigure the psychedelic house explorations of the DJ Qu and of New Jersey Nicuri. What ties it is functionality--not to create the lives of DJ simplerBut to make dancers' nights crazier. K3vin Envoy's concerns lie squarely with The body, using twists and textures to drive the audience. In this sense, Adventures Of A Cosmonaut is branded: The EP Flies delicately between body and soul, Dreams and subsuming rhythms, and physicality that is heaving and Moments of reprieve that is scenic.
