A request for a verification of the existence of the letter could be done at the national level only, and the procedure would require the person who wishes for the copy of the verification to send an application form for the same to the vital records office of the department of health. When the application form is sent, it must be accompanied by the required fee in the form of a money order or personal check as well as a self-addressed envelope and other requirements that may be required by the office. Note that incomplete application would not be processed and the actual processing time could take anywhere between six to eight weeks.

While these archives are not government owned, the information that they could present would be substantially the same as that which could be found from the official archives. They could also present the said information faster and more efficiently, and most would charge only the most minimum of fees for the use of their services, though note that the fact that they are not government owned means that any and all information obtained from these databases could not be used for official purposes.
