How to Have a Fantastic Holiday on Anglesey
The island of Anglesey is located off the coast of North Wales in the United Kingdom. Anglesey is within 30 minutes drive of the Snowdonia National Park and the historic town Caernarfon. The island has many beautiful beaches and is extremely popular with watersports enthuasist's.
Anglesey has a terrific history with ancient sites such as Beaumaris Castle which is situated in the town of Beaumaris on the islands east coast. Beaumaris Castle was built over 800 years ago during King Edward I's of England's reign. Beaumaris Castle was sadly never finished but is still considered to be one of the finest examples of its type in the globe.
There's a lot to do outdoors on Anglesey from activities and farm parks to coastal walks. There are two nation parks located near Holyhead on the islands west coast. Penrhos Nature Reserve is a opportunity to observe many of Anglesey's native species and is just a few minutes from the centre of Holyhead.
