What is True Rejection of Our Lord Jesus Christ?
The question of the age: Do the lost and unsaved actually reject Yashua What is True Rejection of Our Lord Jesus Christ? Anointed (the Lord Jesus Christ) or, better, can they do anything else but 'reject' Him?Now here is a dictionary definition of the word 'rejection': To renounce, denounce, throw away or discard with no further use for - to treat with utter contempt. Now in order for this reaction or event to happen i.e. Furthermore, if these individuals continue in their stubborn refusal to come back to Yashua Anointed, they will then be, as Hebrews states, in big trouble:Hebrews 10:26-27 "For if we sin wilfully (contemptuously without a thought or consideration) after that we have received the knowledge of The Truth, (actually knowing Yashua Anointed) there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation (God's punishing corrective wrath), which shall devour the adversaries." (Brackets mine)
This passage applies to people who, now notice, sin wilfully after receiving knowledge of The Truth, and who is The Truth; Yashua Anointed (the Lord Jesus Christ) of course? These people in John 6 were truly rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ; they had come to know Him closely, but then turned their backs on Him - that is true rejection. This situation cannot be likened to, nor compared with, the surmised rejection of those, i.e. the lost and unsaved who have no relationship at all with Yashua Anointed (the Lord Jesus Christ) at all.Right, now all the above knowledge and Truth is a fundamental fact which mainstream Christianity misses, ignores, and/or misunderstands, because they think that any unsaved member of mankind that 'rejects' Yashua Anointed in this life is doomed to fiery eternal damnation or to "burn in hell" - their favourite phrase. This is especially a favourite of Bible bashing Fundamentalists, called Fundies for short.OK, so let's assume, just for this article, they are right and we apply this idea to the masses regarding Salvation and receiving the Gospel Message and rejection of same. All the while bearing in mind that the Godhead is a Godhead of love, mercy and forgiveness. Yet at the same time, Yashua Anointed said these very words, regarding the masses of His day, whilst He walked this earth:Matt 13:10-15. "And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God (heaven), but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias (Isaiah), which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross (fat, fixed and lazy), and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them, 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear." (Brackets mine)These verses clearly state that Yashua Anointed was not disclosing The Truth to the majority of the people via the use of parables with only a select few, the called and chosen - The Twelve Learners (Disciples), who, alone, were privy to knowing Yashua Anointed and Him as The Truth in a close master/brother/friend type relationship.
