The dissemination of information to the public is one of the primary obligations of the government to the people as it is presumed that the information that is kept by the government is something that would be of great interest to the public. This is the reason why public records like Fresno County Public Records do exist, though it is important to note that there are two types of public records in this sense. The first would be the records that are made by the government as required by their mandate, and the second would be the records that are considered public records because they contain information that is of great interest to the public and thus, to serve the welfare of the public, they must be made available to the general public.

One of the records that are made by the government and classified under public records made as required by the mandate of the government would be court records, though one could make the argument that these records would also fall under the second type since these records do contain some information that may be of some interest to the public. Court records are the records made by the court in their performance of their judicial duties and they include trial transcripts which, if there is an appeal, would be forwarded to the appellate courts.

Like all public records, such records enjoy the presumption of regularity which means that they are presumed to be correct at all times owing to the fact that they were made by the government. This means that the party who would present the records would have no need to prove that the contents of the records are true and accurate as they are already presumed to be as such. Of course, such presumption applies only for those records that were obtained from the proper sources, hence, the party presenting the records may be asked to prove that the records being presented were obtained from the proper sources.

Copies of court records may be obtained from the local court where the records were made. The method for making the request would be to make the request in Fresno County Public Records Archive person as the courts could not handle requests made through mail. Necessarily, the person interested in the records would have to travel to the actual location of the office to make the request, but take note that while this method would require travel and more time, requests made in person are often completed Fresno County Public Records Downloads within the same day of the request, and there is also the added opportunity of actually being able to talk with those who had made the record in order to ascertain other information that may not even be reflected upon the records that are being requested for.

Copies of Fresno County Court Records may also be obtained online through the use of online archives and databases. These are not official sources, hence, the information obtained from them would not enjoy the presumption of regularity, but these databases could provide their information faster and more efficiently.
