The AUCs of different imaging modalities were compared by Z-test. The presence Z-VAD-FMK of heterogeneity among different studies was examined with a chi-square test. P??0.05, and a random effects model was used when P?find more studies of 11C-MET and 18F-FDG PET or PET/CT scan. Therefore, these studies were also eligible studies of 18F-FDG scan. Another research was also included in the MRS study because it was compared with MRS. Ten of the MRS studies were selected according to the inclusion criteria. Among these studies, one was compared with 18F-FDG PET and another study with 11C-MET PET. Among all eligible studies, one was diagnosed as lesion based, whereas the others were patient based. 18F-FDG PET 18F-FLT PET c-MRI 18F-FDG PET/CT c-MRI 18F-FDG PET/CT 11C-MET PET/CT 18F-FDG PET/CT 11C-MET PET/CT 18F-FDG PET MRS MRP PET (Siemens, DC, USA) SPECT (Picker, OH, USA) 18F-FDG PET 201Tl-SPECT 18F-FDG PET 11C-MET PET SPECT-C (ADAC, CA, USA) SPECT (Picker, OH, USA) 18F-FDG PET 201Tl-SPECT PET (Siemens, DC, USA) SPECT (Siemens, DC, USA) 18F-FDG PET 123I-IMT SPECT PET (Shimadzu, Kyoto, Japan) 1.5T MR (GE, CT, USA) 11C-MET PET MRS PET (CTI, FL, USA) SPECT (Siemens, RhoC DC, USA) 11C-MET PET 201Tl-SPECT MRS 99mTc(V)-DMSA SPECT MRS MR perfusion MR diffusion MRS MR perfusion MR diffusion MRS MR diffusion 1.5T MR (GE, CT, USA) SPECT (GE, CT, USA) MRS 99mTc-MIBI 3.0T MR (GE, CT, USA) SPECT (Siemens, Munich,Germany) MRS 123I-IMT SPECT No statistical threshold effect heterogeneity was included in the studies of 18F-FDG, but non-threshold effect heterogeneity was included. Thus, a random effect model was used in the meta-analysis for the diagnosis of 18F-FDG. Neither threshold effect heterogeneity nor non-threshold effect heterogeneity was included in the studies of 18F-FDG and MRS, so a FEM was used. The diagnostic data of 18F-FDG PET (PET/CT), 11C-MET PET (PET/CT) and MRS were performed pooled analyses, respectively. The pooled sensitivities and specificities of these methods were shown in Figure?2. The pooled sensitivities of 18F-FDG PET (PET/CT), 11C-MET PET (PET/CT) and MRS were 70% (95% CI: 64C75%), 85% (95% CI: 76C91%) and 87% (87% CI: 80C92%), respectively.
