Backup Drone also provides users the option to either automatically or manually backup their cPanel root or home directory files. This option is recommended for users with websites (i.e. photo uploads or video uploads) that frequently have file and folder updates.

MySQL Databases

Backup Drone also provides users the option to either automatically or manually backup their cPanel MySQL databases.This option is considered if the users own a website where the root or home directory files rarely change, however, their MySQL databases are frequency changing. Usually users with community (i.e. blog or forum) or news based websites prefer this option.

Email Forwarders & Filters Backup

Backup Drone also provides users the option to either automatically or manually backup their cPanel Email Forwarders and Filters. This option is great for users who have many email addresses setup that are forwarded to other email addresses, or global email filters created.

Backup Scheduling Options

Backup Drone allows users to schedule when an automatic backup should be performed. Users have the option to schedule a backup every day, week, or month. Users can also setup the time of day the automatic backup should be performed.

Email Notifications

Backup Drone allows users to receive an email notification after an automatic backup has been performed. This feature allows users to be rest assured that the software is working correctly and backing up their websites if the users are away from their computer. The email the users will receive will contain a simple message displaying rather or not the backup was successful or not. If the backup was not successful, the email notification will also contain a message that state possible failure causes.
