Children are taught certain conventional poems or songs at the nursery level. These are called nursery rhymes whose lyrics are written to rhyme, and are set to lovely tunes - which are immensely enjoyable for children. These musical melodies also double up as learning aids for children, for vocabulary building and basic counting skills. These are also taught to kids with certain actions and dancing steps, to create their motor skills.

Children all over the globe develop up on these melodious songs. These songs linger in their minds, to become an intrinsic component of their life and character in later years.
