The Spearman rank correlation coefficient was calculated to assess the relationship Talazoparib cell line between E2 and SDF-1 alpha. The mean serum SDF-1 alpha concentration was 2087.03 550.03 pg/ml. SDF-1 alpha serum concentration did not significantly differ between smokers (2020.3 470.39 pg/ml) and non-smokers (2101.97 568.43 pg/ml, p = 0.606), obese (2184.74 491.05 pg/ml) and non-obese (2051.21 569.78 pg/ ml, p = 0.333), or statin users (2109.79 499.29 pg/ml) and non-users (2064.65 608.32 pg/ml, p = 0.717). The mean serum T level in the whole group was 12.25 7.88 nmol/l. T concentration did not significantly differ between smokers (14.41 8.92 nmol/l) and non-smokers (11.77 7.62 nmol/l, p = 0.243), obese (10.82 5.7 nmol/l) and non-obese (12.78 8.52 nmol/l, p = 0.321), or statin users (12.59 7.41 nmol/l) and non-users (11.94 8.62 nmol/l, p = 0.719). The serum E2 level was 44.1 (32.3 C 64.0 pmol/l). E2 concentration did not significantly differ between smokers 53.2 (32.5 C 71.1 pmol/l) and non-smokers 44.7 (31.2 C 63.6, p = 0.453), obese 51.5 (41.6 C 64.9 pmol/l) and non-obese 42.35 (30.3 C 61.0 pmol/l, p = 0.058), or statin users 42.0 (30.4 C 56.0 pmol/l) and non-users 49.1 (33.5 selleck chemicals C 64.1 pmol/l, p = 0.314). The mean serum SHBG was 31.38 15.51 nmol/l. SHBG concentration did not significantly differ between smokers (31.69 16.55 nmol/l) and non-smokers (31.31 15.4 nmol/l, p = 0.933), obese (30.27 10.37 nmol/l) and non-obese (31.79 17.07 nmol/l, p = 0.698), or statin users (32.9 15.89 nmol/l) and non-users (30.19 CAPNS1 15.46 nmol/l, p = 0.442). The mean E2 to T ratio was 5.59 3.28. The E2/T ratio did not significantly differ between smokers (5.33 3.14) and non-smokers (5.65 3.34, p = 0.738), obese (6.57 3.62) and non-obese (5.23 3.11, p = 0.104), or statin users (5.14 3.12) and non-users (6.1 3.48, p = 0.196). The only significant correlations observed were: a positive correlation between SDF-1 alpha and T (r = 0.233; p = 0.036); a positive correlation between SDF-1 alpha and SHBG (r = 0.312; p = 0.004); and an inverse correlation between SDF-1 alpha and E2/T ratio (r = -0.463; p = 0.000) (Fig. 1). There was no significant correlation between SDF-1 alpha and age (r = 0.093; p = 0.404), BMI (-0.001; p = 0.994), or E2 (-0.139; p = 0.212). The correlations between SDF-1 alpha and T, SHBG and E2/T ratio were also examined using multiple regression analysis (Tab. 2).
