Wallpaper Replacements
What happens if --- having already boosted your wall's look with wallpaper and wall borders that have matching stylish designs --- you need to make some repairs in several sections of your wall? A similar dilemma also arises if you have run out of wallpaper rolls to cover some remaining parts of a wall. Common sense dictates that you will try to get in touch with your wallpaper store and inquire if they have wallpaper that exactly matches yours. When ordering matching rolls of wallpaper from the same wallpaper store where you bought your first rolls, make sure that you have the book name, batch number and style number of the paper you bought. This way, you are assured that you are getting the same product to complete your wall project. Keeping information regarding the technical details of your wallpaper is very important in cases like this. Better yet, ask for samples to make sure that you are receiving the right stuff.
However, what if the home improvement store says that their stocks of the wallpaper and/or wall borders you want have run out? The logical thing to do is try other home improvement shops and see if they carry the same brand or pattern of wallpaper. It's always best to go to these stores with a piece of the wallpaper so that you can match it with their products (you can also bring a close-up picture if you can't bring an actual sample with you).Sometimes though, you will run into a dead end if the manufacturer of the wallpaper or wall border you are looking for has ceased production of the product. In this situation, the next best thing you can do is go back to the wallpaper store who sold you the pattern; they might still have some rolls in stock. But if the paper is more than a year old, the chances of finding the same pattern is minimal. Should your search end in vain, just move on; place a new order for new rolls of wallpaper and make sure you order an extra roll or two.
If you are on a tight budget and you need just a few rolls to redo or repair your existing wallpaper, you can always go with discount wallpaper. It might be hard looking for discount wallpaper that matches what you already have but some stores do have thousands of wallpapers in their stocks, including those that are marked for discount. You will more than likely find discount wallpaper that is still in good shape. Using discount wallpaper to cover your walls if your replacement swatches are not available is a good economical move. However, do order some samples of discount wallpaper and see if they fit with your room before you place an order.
